The Bulls then went on to win the NBA championship, defeating the Seattle SuperSonics 4–2 in the Finals. Jordan was named Finals MVP.

The real 1995–96 Nets finished 30–52, while the Bulls finished 72–10.

Yet in the SimUlearn tournament…

The Nets won the championship.

And they didn’t sneak through with a bunch of lucky one-point victories.

They finished the tournament by beating Orlando by 18 points and Golden State by 35 points.

That’s exactly why simulated tournaments are so much fun.

The real season tells us what actually happened.

Probably not. 😂

But that’s not really the point.

The simulation gave us a completely alternate version of the 1995–96 NBA season:
